'32 Ford 'Rainmaker' HDR

Description

The owner of this car drove it down to the Goodguys Summer Get-Together in Pleasanton, California. He claimed the rain followed him the entire distance from Vancouver, B.C. :raincloud:

Oh well, the rain was a nuisance but I had some fun in spite of it.

This is my first attempt at producing an HDR style image. :painter:

The brightness of the car is awesome and eye catching. A little tighter crop would give a little more impact. Especially taking some of the space away from the top.

The angle is great and I like the wheels being slightly turned, not sure if you planned that or if thats how it was parked.

The reflection in the puddle is amazing but to be honest I only just noticed it when I scrolled down to more to keep typing. I didn't notice it at all even before I decided to critique this.

The reason I didn't notice it before it because of all that space above the car. The blue sign is distracting to the eye. But the biggest issue I have is that silver car. Clone stamp that ugly thing out. It pulls the eye away from the subject. Id do the same with the black truck but this isn't such a big deal.

Id give you way more for impact if those few things were addressed.

Besides that its a very striking image. I love being in the right place at the right time with my camera in hand. The reflection of the bushes on the wheel arch is beautiful.

Good job
