Bel Air . . . Not

I happened upon this classic Chevrolet outside the gates of Yellowstone Park. The owner and his wife were just getting out of the car to enter the cafe. I asked the gentleman if I could take a few photos of his beautiful Bel Air.

"This is NOT a Bel Air!" he corrected me. This is a (220 or 120 - I don't remember now). "It does not have the steel inserts on the tail fin. And you'll notice it does not have the Bel Air name badges."

Classic car collectors can be touchy at times.
