Leather Wet

Between 2 and 3 hours work on this image.  Original media, Ektachrome Elite 200, 35mm transparency.  
Following the original scan, completed a three layer photomerge to improve exposure and color.  Followed that with a levels adjustment and a little burn to the model's irises.
After that, a minor crop to the original dimensions and a thorough cleaning of dust and scratches.  The final touch was use of the lasso and stroke to create a gentle vignette.

The model, Mary, is posing in the shallow end of the somewhat famous, Glass Pool Inn (now closed) www.roadsidepeek.com/roadusa/s…, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The date was July 16, 1995.  
The shoot was sponsored by a local camera club.  I suspect most of the models were dancers from local clubs.  There was rock band playing poolside, lead singer dressed in pink tutu and
sporting a cast on his right leg.  It was just another day in Las Vegas; not weird in any way; business as usual.
